As an Account Manager on our sales team, you'll play a key role in expanding our presence across both new and existing markets. Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, you'll be responsible for actively developing your territory by building strong relationships, identifying and pursuing new growth opportunities, and helping clients discover the Yokohama products that best support their success.
As a true ambassador of our brand, you will actively contribute to sales growth by presenting tailored solutions, understanding customer needs, and supporting clients throughout their journey—ensuring they feel confident and well-supported in choosing us.
Key Responsibilities
• Build and nurture strong relationships with current and prospective customers, actively growing our presence within your territory.
• Act as a trusted point of contact—resolving issues, answering questions, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate closely with teams across sales, marketing, distribution, technical services, and accounting to deliver seamless solutions.
• Lead engaging product knowledge sessions for customers to help them make informed decisions.
• Represent Yokohama at trade shows and conventions, actively generating leads and new business opportunities.
• Analyze customer potential and proactively identify and pursue new opportunities for growth.
• Strategically plan your time and priorities to maximize results across your territory.
• Forecast tire needs in your area to align with demand and business goals.
• Stay up to date on industry trends, product innovations, as well as competitive and industry activities.
• Drive new business through proactive outreach, prospecting, and lead generation activities.
• Support the resolution process for tire warranty claims, ensuring clear communication and customer care.
• Provide regular reports on sales performance, pipeline, and forecasts to management.
